How to create a new campaign in Alfie

Learn how to create a new campaign in Alfie, describe your ideal partner in plain language, and get 25 matched affiliates in about 5 minutes.

Creating a new campaign in Alfie is super simple, and once you've done it once, you'll be able to spin up a fresh partner search any time a new goal comes along. US affiliate spending is on track to reach nearly $16 billion by 2028, according to eMarketer, and the brands that find the right partners first get the biggest share of it. Here's how to get your first campaign live in a few minutes.

Start from your campaigns dashboard

When you log in to Alfie, you'll see every campaign you've built, which ones are running, and how many campaigns your plan has available. In my account, I've got three campaigns with two of them running. Hit the start button to activate a campaign, or pause any of them if you no longer want to use them. It's an easy way to keep your recruitment focused on what matters right now.

Name it and give it a goal

To create a new campaign, give it whatever name you like and then add a quick goal in plain language. Mine was simply "content partners." There's no special syntax to learn here, because Alfie is built to understand the way you'd describe the goal to a teammate.

Start your search

Next you'll land on a screen that says "Start your search." You can reuse one of your recent searches or write a new one, and Alfie adapts to whatever you type, so feel free to talk in plain language. Within about 30 seconds you'll see keywords populating, and Alfie starts finding matches for the exact type of partner you described.

Fine-tune your filters

This is where you shape the results. In my demo I had the traffic type set to newsletter, but if you add other traffic types, you'll watch the number of potential matches go up. Once your filters look right, hit Search Partners and Alfie gets back to work.

Let Alfie do the digging

Alfie first pulls in the affiliates already in our database, then searches the web for sites that match the type of partner you're looking for. Finding the active affiliates in the database takes roughly 1 to 2 minutes, and finding the ones that are ranking online takes about another 5 minutes. The first results start popping up right away, and soon there are 50 partners in the box, ready for you to review.

Happy recruiting

If you have questions along the way, click the question mark in the app to reach our support team. Alfie is an XPFlow product, and if you'd rather have experienced affiliate managers run your recruitment for you, Chief of Chaos can help with that too.
